How It Work?
The Current Process
-
1. Contact Us
If you are looking to add a new family member, the first thing to do is browse our site, send us an email, or call us. Let us know what your needs are, whether you are interested in a puppy from a current litter or looking to reserve one from an upcoming litter.
-
2. Fill Out Some Paperwork
Once you have picked out your pup or wish to reserve one, it's time to fill out some paperwork. We require buyers to fill out a simple Puppy Contract that states our terms of service, such as understanding that with Limited AKC registration, you cannot breed your pup in the future, and any wrongdoing will result in extra fees and restitution. If you want to breed in the future, you can contact us for rights, but at the moment, we are not allowing this. You also acknowledge that you are responsible for this pup once it leaves and that you will follow up with proper shots and health checkups, etc. If for some reason, you cannot take care of this dog at any point in the future, you can bring them back to us, and we will re-home the dog for you. However, this does not mean you get what you paid for the dog as all sales are final.
For Future Litters:
If you want a puppy from a future litter and wish to reserve one before they are born, you will still be required to fill out the paperwork ahead of time. Once approved, you will be placed on a waiting list (first come, first served), and we will let you know when the mother is officially pregnant (either by email or phone/text). After the mother has given birth, we will contact you again to let you know the genders, and from there, you will be required to make the $150 non-refundable deposit to reserve your puppy of choice.
-
3. Place Deposit
If you are reserving your puppy, once approved, you will need to pay the required $150 non-refundable deposit. We will then place a special collar on your pup to ensure it does not get mixed up.
-
4. Watch It Grow Up
Again, if you have reserved a puppy, we will keep you updated with pictures and videos via text message, email, and/or social media.
-
5. Make an Appointment
Reserved Puppies:
If you have reserved your puppy, we will contact you after 8-9 weeks to let you know that you can officially take them home. We will work with you to schedule a pickup or delivery date and time.
Puppies not Reserved and Still Available (after 8 weeks):
If you are looking at current puppies available that have not yet been reserved, please set up an appointment with us to come and visit. At that time, you will still be required to fill out all paperwork, and full payment will be required to take a puppy home that day.
Puppies not Reserved and Still Available (after 6 weeks):
Under special circumstances, you can come and view puppies that have not yet been reserved before they are ready to go home. If you find one you like, you can fill out the paperwork, place your $150 non-refundable deposit, and proceed to Step 6.
-
6. Take Your Pup Home
Once we have finished all the paperwork and payment has been made in full (due at the date of pickup), it's now time to take your new family member home. We will provide you with a packet containing all the information you need for your pup, such as recommended food, shot/health records, a blanket with the mother's scent, a small bag of their current food.
